    tickets-signs

When you buy from Arriva Trains Wales all you pay for is the price of your ticket - we don’t charge booking fees or card fees and standard postage is free

    Online

Simply enter your journey details into the 'Train tickets and times' search to find the best fares or click here. We don’t charge booking fees and you can receive your tickets by First Class post (please allow seven days for delivery); or collect your pre-paid tickets from ticket vending machines (TVM's) at participating stations.

    On mobile/app

You can buy your ticket on your smartphone with the free ATW app. Buy tickets securely on our app and collect your tickets from ticket machines, or if m-tickets are available for your journey, your ticket will be stored within the app on your device.

    By phone

You can buy tickets over the telephone too. Give us a call on 08709 000 773 between 8am and 10pm Monday to Saturday or 9am and 5pm Sundays. You can choose to collect your tickets from a Ticket Vending Machine or receive them by post (allow seven days for delivery).

From Ticket Vending Machines (TVM's) at participating stations

The TVM's sell a range of tickets for popular destinations for immediate use and accept most credit/ debit cards as well as cash at certain stations. Check your journey times and individual ticket restrictions when purchasing your ticket to be sure that it is valid for your planned train.

    From station ticket offices

You can buy the full range of tickets from staffed ticket offices. Our ticket offices will accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, National Rail vouchers and rail warrants.

    On trains

You should buy your ticket before you board the train, the exceptions are if you start your journey at a station where no ticket office or TVM's are provided, or the ticket office is closed; only then can tickets can be purchased from conductors on the train.
